I went off grid for a bit in NYC.

I'm back in the grind and super busy. Bleh.

I have SOOO much to show and tell about our trip but I have to play ketchup today!

Maybe runs will be my new thing while Lee is deployed? I had fun doing THIS run last month. When Taylor mentioned doing one this Summer, I was an easy yes. Especially after seeing all the fun pix from previous runs! It's def going to be colorful...

Military Spouse Appreciate Day is today!!!
It was declared to be the Friday before every Mother's Day.

I thought about posting a stereotypical military spouse inspired poem but I'm not.
Instead I'm going to post a verse I recently rediscovered that I find myself repeating over and over again:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. – James 1:2-3

Now I don't know about the "pure joy" part but I'm working on it. Ha!

Last night I had to take several deep breaths.
We have our fun shoot behind us and yes I'm looking forward to our upcoming NYC getaway but it's all happening so fast! I just want to slam on the brakes, ya know?
I hate feeling like our days are numbered. Trying not to think like that is even harder. We have so much to discuss but it's not a popular subject if you ask me. Bleh.

We had so much fun yesterday!!! We ended up going to 3 different locations and I think our sweet photographer really captured a lot of fun shots that we can smile at throughout this next year while we're miles apart. Here's a sneak peek he gave us last night:

Getting ready for our shoot today. So excited. We're at the hotel first and then the green house this afternoon. I don't know if I'm more excited about getting pictures blown up huge for our walls or the fact that I'm not at work.
